Inside this girl's transitional bedroom, white molding stands out against the room's lavender wall color, and coordinates with the platform bed, midcentury modern dresser and double ottomans. A white, pink and purple flower pattern is picked up in the wallpaper, roman shades and upholstered chair and bench.
The design for this little girl's room is light and bright with plenty of feminine touches. The mint green of the walls is a light, subtle color, while the light from the large window helps to accent it and make the space lighter. The bedspread brings a nice feminine touch to the space with the floral pattern, and the furniture compliments that design.
Pink accents and a line of hanging clothing add a feminine touch to this room, which is tied together by a pink gingham rug. Yellow butterflies and dragonflies throughout the room create a outdoorsy feel.
Playful and pretty, periwinkle walls are the perfect backdrop to this eclectic girl's bedroom. Bunk beds are dressed in muted linens and patterned pillows, and a faux fur tripod chair is paired with a Moroccan end table for a reading nook.
The older daughter's room features a lot of custom elements. A custom drywall panel was added to create an accent element and finished with a black-and-white patterned wall covering. The contemporary room has a white palette with chrome accents and shades of purple throughout. A built-in desk has ample shelving while a large mirror sliding door conceals the closet space across from the bed.
Subtle and feminine was the design goal for this elegant little girl's room. The muted pink walls anchor the space, while the gray patterned bedspread adds warmth and texture to the space. For color and personality, designers brought in a teal and pink rug with antiqued furniture to create a fun, yet sophisticated room for this little girl to enjoy now as well as grow into.
“This room is fun, funky and feminine with great storage, an ingenious bed for sleeping, watching TV or talking to friends and a loveseat that any young girl would simply love,” says designer Vern Yip.
