This master bedroom has been renovated with a new cathedral ceiling, contemporary wall colors, updated wardrobe closets, and an upholstered headboard for the queen bed. A new two-piece washroom was added in the space of the old in-wall closets, and new closets were added behind double swing doors. New upgraded windows and window treatments allow plenty of natural light into the room and privacy at night.
Bedroom design doesn't end with the bed. Headboards can add just as much, if not more character. This headboard has a circle cut out of it, which designer Tom Beasley uses to show off the floor-to-ceiling curtains behind it and the bed.
A tall upholstered headboard with nailhead trim ups the elegance of this transitional bedroom. Matching white dressers serve as nightstands, and pops of blue throughout the decor tie in the soothing wall color.
