The minimalist approach to this hallway features a simple color scheme and bright atmosphere from the natural lighting of the sky lights. Countertop over white storage cabinets match the dark hardwood flooring moving through the space. Gold handles and mounted wall art decorate the space and add a touch of color.
A neon sky line light adds a pop of color to decorate this hip, contemporary dining room. Painted brick creates an accent wall behind the tables. Matching tables surrounded with bar chair seating are positioned within the nook space lit by individual lights above.
This modern kitchen enjoys lots of natural sunlight thanks to a large skylight and windows. Pink barstools cozy up to a sleek kitchen island, while a glass dining table boasts formal seating in the adjoining dining space.
In this kids' bathroom, a skylight lets in plenty of natural light to brighten the space, while bold navy and green accent the space. The vanities are split here, making the space both functional and practical, allowing each child to have his own sink in the space, and wooden stools help the boys reach their sinks. Built-in shelves provide storage in the space, while an alligator shower curtain and zebra striped rug add personality and fun.
Black subway tile on the bar wall correlates with the white subway tile walls in this public bar. Tall barstools with neutral leather set cushions reach up to the wood countertop adding a beautiful texture agains the subway tile. A large skylight lets natural light fall into the room while a trio of pendant lights bring a warm glow above the bar.
To lay the groundwork for this modern bathroom, designers started with a neutral color palette that would reflect the natural light let into the space from the skylight above. Then, they added modern wood cabinets and a gray countertop to warm the space. To give the room a touch of personality, a gray, black and white penny round tile backsplash was added, and a gray and white chevron floor was laid. In the shower area, the walls are covered in off-white tile with a penny round tile inset that matches the backsplash to tie the space together.
In order to add a stove, cabinets and appliances in the kitchen, the french doors had to be removed and a wall need to be added. Because valuable light was being taken away, the Kitchen Cousins added two skylights into the ceiling. After tearing the dining room wall down and turning the dining room into the kitchen, there is a whole new flow and life to the atmosphere and energy of the kitchen and dining room area. What once was a cold empty ding room is now a large kitchen that opens to a large dining room.
