As seen on DIY Network's Rehab Addict, this girl's bedroom features much of the original wood and tile. Kid's bedrooms are very important to Nicole as she always wants to ensure that her restored homes are family friendly. She used a collection of salvaged and antique toys along with some of her son's photos and artwork to stage these rooms.
The kitchen gets some of its pizazz from high-end appliances, contemporary pendant fixtures and a green marble countertop. Set against a backdrop of crisp white cabinetry, the beauty of the design is in full focus.
As seen on Rehab Addict, Nicole Curtis removed pink curtains to allow the big, bright windows to let in lots of light. The white curtains and furnishings make the sunroom feel more peaceful and relaxing.
For this laundry room, Mark Warren of Warren Home Restorations Inc. wanted to combine efficient storage and ample light with pleasing design that would blend with the rest of the home. An apron-front sink makes a pretty stand-in for a utility sink. To the right, specially sized niches hold laundry baskets that make sorting and toting a snap.
As seen on HGTV's Fixer Upper, to maximize the space in this kitchen, Joanna added a functional kitchen island to increase seating options and give the family more prep space for meals. Gray cabinets match the gray trim and molding from the rest of the open concept first floor, and rustic stools provide complementary style. A subway tile backsplash polishes off the space, finishing out the design.
As seen on Fixer Upper, to revitalize the outdated exterior of the Ridley home, Joanna added wooden shutters and custom made pillars. To further update the home's look, the brick was painted a more modern color and landscaping was added to give the outdoor space a much needed facelift.
The kitchen in the King home has been completely transformed and repositioned. Some of the key elements of the kitchen are the open shelves, the black granite countertops, the brick backsplash, a vent hood, stainless steel appliances, industrial light fixtures and a custom island, as seen on Fixer Upper.
The marble of the kitchen island creates the focal point for this Fixer Upper kitchen. After Chip and Joanna removed walls and opened up the kitchen space, they had room to add this large kitchen island with extra seating. To accent the gray cabinets, Joanna chose a gray and white marbled tile that provided a durable solution for the family and really made her rustic industrial design pop.
