This fishcamp cabin kitchen by Historical Concepts Architecture & Planning hits just about every country note: Rustic wood, milk-paint colors, suspended plate racks and casual scatter rugs – and, of course, a deep farmhouse sink. Pale walls and a disciplined lack of clutter keep it all from becoming overwhelming.
As seen on Love It Or List It, Too, the kitchen and dining room have changed places. Now, the kitchen has plenty of space for storage and prep, while the dining table, which extends from the kitchen island in true Italian fashion, seats up to ten. The Caesar Stone countertops in the color Misty Carrera have been extended to the end of the dining area, and the cabinets are stained opaque, both grey and white, with Benjamin Moor Paint. The flooring throughout the kitchen and the first floor is stone brown red oak from Mercer, and the wall color is Milk Paint from Behr.
As seen on Love It Or List It, Too the previous kitchen is now a powered room and storage in the newly expanded kitchen. The kitchen sits where the dining area used to be, extending into the dining/living room where the country kitchen now sits. A custom kitchen dining table extends from the Ceasarstone countertop island called Misty Carrera. The layout was inspired by the Italian kitchen where the household help would often eat at their workspace, thus the extended island and dining table. The chandelier sits over the fixed island as the dining table is bound to be moved around. The dining chairs are an eclectic collection of Eames and Ikea rattan, mismatched to give the feeling of an informal gathering where newly added guests will pull up any chair they can find. The island houses a microwave and lots of storage space and ample storage is found on the back wall where there was once the kitchen. The cabinets are stained opaque, both grey and white, with Benjamin More. The flooring found throughout stone brown red oak from Mercer. The wall color is called Milk Paint from Behr.
This romantic, neutral master bathroom from HGTV Dream Home 2009 is a feast for the eyes. At the end of the long, narrow room sits a grand Victorian-style tub, offset by gleaming hardwood floors. Custom cabinetry offers ample room for double vanities and plenty of storage.
