The old carport was demolished and, in its place, Home Town hosts Erin and Ben Napier created this patio with arbor and seating area. The new wood elements were custom created by Ben using cedar lumber that was salvaged from the old siding and interior demolition.

After the renovations, their Laurel, MS house now features a wide open view to the street with new landscaping, painted brick, a new glass entry door and warm cypress wood siding at the front porch.

The space is filled with authentic stories made to share around the table in a true chef’s kitchen.

After the renovations, the Carson's Laurel, MS dining room now features newly painted gray walls with a white wainscoting, updated blinds, and drapes, a new china cabinet along with new drop cloth chair covers that host Erin Napier created.

After the renovations, their Laurel, MS kitchen now features new hardwood floors, a complete redesign of the kitchen with bright walls, new cabinets, concrete countertops, a large island for entertaining, a new tile backsplash and bright colors to help the room stand out.

After the renovations, their dining room now flows right into the large kitchen and features the original hardwood floor refinished, updated furnishings, a custom built white oak buffet table and a custom designed wallpaper wall that host Erin Napier hand drew and sent off to have the wallpaper created for the Walker residence.
As seen on Home Town, the Walker's Laurel, MS existing living room was cold and uninviting with a dark stain on the existing wood floor and a solid entry door allowing minimal light into the large open space. After the renovations, their Laurel, MS living room now gives the feeling of being wide open and flows nicely from the full glass entry door into the living and dining areas. The living room features the original refinished hardwood floor, new curtains, and blind, updated furnishings and custom art designed by Mia's younger son Bryce. Host Erin Napier said the floors had to be sanded three times to get the old dark stain completely removed to allow the natural color of the wood to show again.
Wall-to-wall storage and a tucked-in beverage center adds tons of function in this media room, while a whitewashed wood feature wall offers texture and visual interest, The homeowner wanted something completely custom and durable so that his young children could play freely in the space, so designer Blu Interiors selected custom furniture made with durable fabrics and a rug created from FLOR carpet tiles, which are easy to wash and replace as needed. The homeowner is from Atlanta, and the ATL marquee lights are a fun way to show off his hometown pride.
