The Property Brothers completely renovated the kitchen, giving it a new layout and appliances. The addition of a gray subway tile backsplash arranged in a herringbone pattern gives the space a one-of-a-kind element.
For tailored panache, the doors of the closets in this bedroom were finished with a brown tweed pattern. A dresser and mirror tucked between them lets occupants do a quick once over before heading out for the day.
"Existing in this condo was this strange alcove adjacent to the dining room," said designer Debbie Perez. "Knowing our clients love eclectic, reclaimed and funky things, we designed a custom dry bar to look like it was made from salvaged metal and old drawer pulls."
Gray tile floors provide contrast in this ultra-bright bathroom. The gray tiles form a herringbone pattern, creating movement in the clean, crisp space. A glass-enclosed shower makes the spacious room feel even larger.
DIY Network is partnering with the USO and Marie Callender’s to give a Marine Corps veteran a larger functional kitchen for the whole family to enjoy. The small L-shaped kitchen was expanded into an open plan layout and pretty details added like this herringbone backsplash behind the range hood.
