Every inch of this modern space is put to good use, with a sunny niche carved out for the bed and a built-in desk by the door. The bedroom, which belongs to Cooking Channel star Tiffani Thiessen's young daughter, features chic white walls and bright, fun pops of pink.

Before the mother-daughter duo of HGTV's show Good Bones renovated this living room, the space was dark and outdated. To create a more open feel, Karen and Mina removed the dated wood paneling and gave the walls a lighter color palette. Then then added contemporary furniture to complete this chic, elegant space.
Designers Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak of HGTV's Good Bones, wanted to create a bright, contemporary space in this office, so they added plenty of colorful pieces, such as a red chair, a blue patterned rug, an orange office chair and bright numeric artwork. The contemporary desk provides plenty of workspace, while the large window creates a great view for the homeowner and clients alike, while also letting in plenty of natural light to brighten the space.
In this contemporary living room, chic chairs resting in front of the windows sport letter and number graphics. Turquoise blue curtains hang just in front of those windows to control light and add a splash of color to the neutral space.
This kitchen, which had been drastically damaged in a fire, is now an elegant, functional space in this contemporary home. To give more room to this space, Karen and Mina removed a wall, which brought this kitchen to the forefront of the design of the home. Then, they added plenty of storage and counter space with upper and lower cabinets. To help make the space pop, a stainless steel dining table with teal accent chairs were brought in, tying the space together, creating an elegant, contemporary kitchen. As seen on HGTV's Good Bones.
As seen on HGTV's Good Bones, Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak removed a wall to enlarge this kitchen and bring it forward in the floor plan. The team added new, bright cabinets for plenty of storage and stainless steel appliances and dining table to make this space clean and modern. To give the kitchen a little color, teal dining chairs and live flowers were put in place, creating a warm, inviting contemporary kitchen.
As seen on HGTV's Good Bones, Karen and Mina added a full guest bathroom to the upper floor of this home. The double vanity with large mirror and pendant lighting gives the space plenty of room for guests to get ready, while the white, subway tile backsplash in the shower adds some glamor to this space.
In this second story home office, Karen and Mina created a funky, contemporary space. The large window in the back of the space lets in plenty of natural light, while contemporary furnishings, such as the brightly colored chairs and the contemporary desk, make the space feel bright and new.
As seen on HGTV's Good Bones, the new dining room features modern furnishings and a black and white patterned rug. On the wall are framed animal prints. These prints are sections of the home's original wallpaper that Karen salvaged, framed and incorporated into the space.
This funky, contemporary living room has plenty of seating, with a large, contemporary sofa and two contemporary chairs. The focal point of this living space, though, is the accent wall. It has been created with dimensional tile to give this bright, neutral living room added depth. As seen on Good Bones.
