The dining room renovation created a space where contemporary, clean lines meet a hint of tradition and glamour. The walls are lined with a lustrous dark wall paper embellished with a subtle pattern and crystal bead accents. The windows emphasize the glamour in the space with shimmering drapery that adds a sense of depth to the design. The furnishings complete the dramatic look by adding to the elegance and beauty of the newly renovated space.
This eclectic seating area features green wallpaper and custom upholstered modern chairs with zebra fabric. The black leather steamer trunk accented with silver nail heads and black and white rug complete the look.
This master bedroom features custom touches, including an upholstered headboard and nightstands, both designed by Coddington Design. The nightstands are topped with polished horn lamps, while a nearby vintage wingback chair offers a comfy seat.
Warm flooring, millwork and walls combine with the bold textiles of the head chairs to create an unexpected and eclectic vibe. The custom perforated metal chandelier anchors the dining space and offers a modern Moroccan element. Adjacent to the pool terrace, this space was the perfect opportunity for a true indoor-outdoor experience.
Custom draperies are banded at the leading edge in geometric gold, a nice contrast to ocean-hued walls in this transitional home office. A shagreen leather desk with nail-head trim pairs with a painted Chippendale chair, creating a workspace that feels more like fun. A painterly pillow in the desk chair inspired the room’s colorful palette.
Using a large taupe damask wallpaper keeps this second floor master bedroom feeling fresh and updated but still traditional. Touches of raspberry pink bring a little femininity to the room while a seating area provides a place to relax. Mixing a custom skirt, duvet and shams with a new headboard and antique desk, chair and lamp creates a timeless element of style.
"Fun" is the word that best describes this teen girl's room. A blue focal wall matches the custom headboard, making the room pop with color. A hanging bubble chair provides bedside seating, while a four-foot-wide, flokati-covered rolling ottoman offers extra seating and a contrasting color to the blue and pink accents.
The dining room by Shelly Riehl David uses bold colors to create a vibrant dining space. Custom draperies on iron medallions were paired with an enameled walnut credenza, glided buffet lamps and mahogany dining table. Silk upholstered side chairs were grouped with button-tufted head chairs and showcased on travertine tiles gridlocked by narrow black granite stripes. An elegant centerpiece and simple accessories accentuate the timeless elegance of this room.
The bedside cabinets and master bed are custom pieces designed by Habachy Designs. The bed has a sophisticated, channeled headboard with wood trim. Even in a neutral and white space, warmth was created through the mixture of old and new. There is a big mix of vintage pieces with new designs. The vintage desk chair is brass and zebra hide and phenomenally crafted with its skinny, curved and tapered legs.
