A happy tablescape pays tribute to the sunny Southwest location of HGTV Dream Home 2010 with a bowl of chili peppers, Southwest art picture books and antique Native American baskets. “I always start out and keep taking things away and adding things until I feel like I have it right,” says designer Linda Woodrum.
Three Sixty Design created fluid transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces for a client in suburban Denver, and the Colorado American Society of Landscape Architects gave it a 2014 honor award for residential design (over $100,000). The design makes the dream home a living work of art, with actual sculptures among a water feature in one portion of the 3-acre site.
Blue and white check carpet, paisley bedding and a red, white and blue color palette showcase an Americana theme. This bedroom from the HGTV Dream Home 2012 features a dark wood four-poster bed and a vintage-style American flag art piece above the bed. Chrome chandeliers add a touch of glamor to the room and highlight the vaulted ceiling.
